Polymer Journal is the official successor of the republican journal “Composite polymer materials”, which was published in the period from 1964 to 1978. 57 issues were printed.
Since 1998 it has been published as a scientific journal entitled “Composite polymer materials”. Certificate of state registration: series КБ, № 3383 from 28.07.1998 ISSN 023-3275. Since 2004 journal is published as Polymer Journal. Certificate of state registration: series KB № 8498 dated 03.03.2004 ISSN 1818-1724
Polymer Journal publishes articles in Ukrainian and English.
Since 2006, the journal is a part of the universal full-text electronic database of the scientific periodicals ЕВSСО Publishing – the European branch of the American publishing house ЕВSСО Information Services and the Ukrainian abstract base “Dzherelo”.
The journal is included in the List of scientific professional editions of Ukraine (category “B”) in the specialty: chemistry and astronomy. Electronic copies of the issues are stored in the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
Polymer Journal has a Digital Object Identifier, DOI. All scientific publications of the journal since 2005 are provided with DOI.
The Editorial Board of the Polymer Journal is guided in its work by the international ethics standards of scientific publications and adheres to the policy of open access. All articles submitted to the Editorial Board are reviewed and checked for plagiarism. The journal provides users with guarantees regarding these obligations.

Scope of the journal
Polymer Journal is dedicated to publishing works on fundamental and applied macromolecular chemistry and physics of the polymers materials and composite materials. The main scope is covered but not limited to the following core research areas:
– synthesis, kinetics and mechanism of synthesis of linear and network polymers;
– chemical and physical modification of polymers;
– structure, physico-chemical properties of polymers;
– degradation, aging and stabilization of polymers:
– physics of macromolecules and their systems:
– chemical and physico-chemical bases of polymer composites formation, their structure and properties
