Polymer Journal publishes articles dedicated to the following core research areas:

– synthesis, kinetics and mechanism of synthesis of linear and network polymers;

– chemical and physical modification of polymers;

– structure, physico-chemical properties of polymers;

– degradation, aging and stabilization of polymers;

– physics of macromolecules and their systems;

– chemical and physico-chemical bases of polymer composites formation, their structure and properties

Polymer Journal publishes short communications, which contain fundamentally new results and require urgent publication, as well as review articles (1-2 per issue), which summarize the research results and are of general interest to a wide range of readers. Polymer Journal does not publish serial (continued) articles. Manuscripts must be written in Ukrainian or English and be grammatically and linguistically correct.

All articles submitted to the Polymer Journal are peer-reviewed.

The following information should be prepared for submission: the text of the article, figures, captions to figures, tables should be placed on separate sheets, and a separate sheet with abstracts and keywords in two languages (English and Ukrainian).

The manuscript should be submitted in .doc format and sent to the editors by e-mail.

The cost of publishing materials in the Polymer Journal is free of charge

Manuscript Submission

The manuscript must contain a complete list of authors with the first name initial(s), middle initial(s), and surname of each author in English and Ukrainian.

A full list of affiliations for all authors (should be presented without abbreviations). These must include: the names of all authors associated with each affiliation (with all first names as initials) and the complete postal address. An affiliation e-mail address must be provided for all corresponding authors.

ORCID (in Latin letters in the reference format, for example https: / /orcid.org/0000-0000-0000-000X). The order of authors must correspond to the order in the manuscript.

Article components to upload:

  1. Manuscript of the article (full version in Ukrainian or English: authors; ORCID; affiliation; title of the article; abstract and keywords; text of the article; bibliography in English or transliteration from Ukrainian; captions to figures; figures). The file name must be in Latin letters <surname of the first author_full>.
  2. If the article is submitted in English, the abstract and keywords in Ukrainian should be added to the manuscript.
  3. Figures. The file name should match the ordinal numbering of the figures <surname of the first author_Fig_1>.
  4. License agreement for the use of the work signed by all co-authors (License Agreement form PDF). The license agreement enters into force upon acceptance of the article for publication. The signing of the license agreement by the author(s) means that they are familiar with and agree to the terms of the agreement.
  5. Information about each of the authors – surname, name, middle name in full, position, affiliation, academic title, scientific degree, contact information (phone number, e-mail address), ORCID code (required).

Requirements for article

The following information is provided in Ukrainian and English at the beginning of the article:

1) name and middle name initials and surname(s) of the author(s) and ORCID of each of the authors. Particular attention should be paid to the correct spelling of surnames and initials in English;

2) affiliation, full postal address, telephone number, e-mail address of the institution;

3) title of the article;

4) main text of the article (including Figures, Schemes and Tables);

5) an abstract of the article of approximately 1800-2000 characters identifying the new and significant results of the study must be provided for all manuscripts, including articles, reviews, and communications. The abstract should comprise a brief and factual account of the contents and conclusions of the paper as well as an indication of any new information presented and its relevance. Abstracts should be self-contained.

6) keywords – no more than 8 words.

Total volume of the manuscript: article – up to 20 pages, number of figures – up to 10; short communications – up to 5 pages, number of figures – up to 5. In general, the order of the sections in the file is: Introduction, which outlines the problem statement, relevance of the topic, analysis of recent research and publications, purpose and objectives; Main text: consists of Experimental part, Research results and their Discussion. It is necessary to submit the obtained scientific facts, methods of synthesis and analysis of obtained material; Conclusions, which summarize the work, indicate the scientific novelty and prospects for further research in this area; Funding, which provides information about the source of funding, grants and any other financial support for research, the section should use the full names of research institutions and sponsoring organizations; Acknowledgment, which provides general information about any assistance in conducting research and preparing the article; reports on useful discussions and debates, thanks to colleagues and reviewers (in special cases); References.
